Alberta Plastics Recycling Association
APRA is a plastics recycling awareness company that has a professional business audience. I have been managing their social media pages on LinkedIn and Twitter to provide content on events, membership info, plastics facts, and more. I use Canva to schedule posts and Adobe Illustrator to design their content. Since I am no expert on the science of plastics, it was challenging for me to find and write content for the posts. However, I was able to manage this by sorting out key points in the articles that I had and by referring to partner companies that had useful content.
Alberta Circular Plastics Day
I have been responsible for designing and printing materials for their ACPD (Alberta Circular Plastics Day) annual event. I designed and printed name tags, lanyards, tent cards, and other signage pieces. I was also responsible for making website updates leading up to the event. The webpage linked below was laid out and designed by myself along with the correlating graphics.
Branding Guide for APRA
Alberta Plastics Recycling Association was in need of some new templates for their presentation slides, social media templates, and colour schemes/fonts. I created several collateral pieces for their use within the company and files for them to share with their stakeholders. The company already had a logo and colour palette so I was responsible for putting the rest together in a branding guide for future use.

Monthly Feature Articles
Networking is an important feature for APRA and to promote this, we started adding feature articles in each of APRA's monthly newsletters. To prepare each newsletter, I send out a customized questionnaire to a member and ask questions regarding their business and what they enjoy about being an APRA member. From their responses, I prepare an article in Word and send it to my manager for proofing and then a final proofing to the client to ensure the information we have is correct. When the article is approved, we make mention of the article in our newsletter and post it on our website.
